What students have said:
We weren’t a simple group--and you did a terrific job of teaching us a way to think about knitting —to conceptualize the process—that’s not out there in other places. Thank you! Yes, it was daunting at times to keep up with the wealth of insights and info, but that’s what good teaching is all about, right?? You shared your vision as an artist, and that’s invaluable. I love gaining new ways to look at things, and to understand how they do or do not work, and especially to approach materials without bowing to conventions. How often does someone teach along these lines?? Almost never—
I felt lucky to be part of the workshop.

Thank you so much for the great Workshop. I am absolutely excited by what you showed us. It's your first trip to Australia but let's hope it's not the last.

I just wanted to send you a quick email, to say thanks again for sharing your wonderful insights in such an accessible way. The workshop gave me some tools to explore my ideas, helped me to see a way through to create them and was a totally enjoyable experience. It will keep me thinking for a while yet. Love and regards
